I need to update an IP from a hostname to another hostname. can i do it? That means, I have a hostname that updates IP. what i need is, another hostname needs to be updated with that hostname IP.

1 Answer:

No, though there are a number of ways around it.

The first is to use a client that can update multiple hostnames. The other is detailed here by RotBlitz, to use a service like DNS-O-Matic to update multiple hostnames. That does mean trusting a third party with your DynDNS username and password though.
