General DNS & Domains Dyn Email Update Clients Dyn Developer

I have a vivotek 7112 camera that has been set up and is visible within the LAN and from the internet but after a day or so, I lose the ability connect via the internet. I re-comnnect from inside the LAN and it updates the public IP on the http://DYDNS.com server but again after a day it loses the connection.

The camera is setup wirelessly through a netgear WPN824v2 router.

Is this a problem with the camera or do I have the client update set wrong?

It sounds like the update client built into your camera is broken.

Have you checked to see if there is a more recent firmware? Does your modem or router have an update client built into it (just disable the one in the camera first)?

If neither of those are options then you'll need to run a software client on a computer that is always switched on.
