The following is on the Updater Home screen: "An Attention (Yellow) status indicates that the Updater has successfully submitted your IP address, but the server was already up to date." I find can no longer connect to any remote location in either direction. I checked my routers and everything on both ends is fully operational. If I then try to update manually I get the message: "Unable to determine WAN IP. Can't update." These messages are not repeated in the log. Everything was functional for days then this. |

I am experiencing exactly the same problem, except that I am trying to connect to my wifi cams. when I first set them up, it was working fine for about a day, then I got this yellow status with the same message and it didn't work for a day or so then it worked again. It stopped working again two days ago and I just don't know what to do. I have not changed anything and can not get them to work again. Please ask your own question, then we can help you.

If you cannot connect to the Internet then it sounds like you have a basic problem. Check that the computer can connect to the router and that other computers can connect through that router to the Internet. If other devices can, but that one cannot, then check that you've set a netmask (usually |

I can connect to the internet and my internal office networks at both locations. I can no longer access the remote location and the remote location cannot access this location. Everything else is operational. |

Has your WAN IP changed since the last successful update? What operating system are you using (eg Windows XP Pro SP3) and what version number of the update client? The WAN IP is the external IP address of the ISP connected device. If the router IP hasn't changed then you should still be able to connect, even if the update client is having problems. Does it work if you use the WAN IP instead of the hostname? |

If you mean the router IP it has not changed. I'm using Netgear VPN Firewall routers FVS318v3 configured and checked by Netgear at both ends. They are set up identically except for the the local and remote names/addresses. Both sides using AT&T DSL. XP Pro SP3 at the problem end. Vista Home Premium at the OK end. Downloaded and installed the updater for the first time 1 weeks ago. V4.1.6.0. |
