Hello brian a blower, This is a user-to-user forum. As such we can only give advice. We have no direct association with DynDNS
If you are refering to your DynDNS account, it is whatever you designated it to be when you established the account. DynDNS does not assign usernames and passwords. Otherwise it is probably the username/password for the system running the ftp server you are trying to access, or the router to that network, depending upon how you have configured your network. In any case we have no way of knowing. regards... |

I have a apexis IP camera, with a linksys WRT54G wireless router. The camera works locally. I'm tryin to get view through the internet. I changed the camera port to 81, I set up port forwarding (I think) on my router. under my router set-up. I selected http://DynDNS.org, and also went to Applications to define the camera on port 81. I had to also change a setting under "from" "to" ???? I set both to 81. Under my DDNS Linksys username, I used my login name for http://DYndns.org, and my password was my login password. I requested a host name of Otispratt from DynDNS. and one was given that was a little longer. http://Otispratt.est-a-la-mason.com. In my router set-up which one is the correct one. I think this is where my problem is? Thanks Mike Please, ask your own question and then we can help you.
