General DNS & Domains Dyn Email Update Clients Dyn Developer

I'm transfering my domain to here which is like firstname.surname.name, which is fine as most don't seem to handle second / third level .name domains.

Now with this domain I also got the email address firstname@surname.name, which is just a forwarding email address i.e. it needs to be pointed to another email address to actually recieve the emails.

My current registra has said that I also need to transfer this as I would a domain but not sure how this would be done. It does have it's own Auth Code as well from them.

So does this just follow along with the domain transfer or do I need to do something else as well to get it here.

Thanks.

1 Answer:

According to DynDNS's documentation the email service is available on request for an additional fee. As such you'll need to contact them directly about this.

Thanks, I did another search and I found the details as well. I've sent support a question and they have advised what I needed to do. So the email is being transfered now as well.

Thanks.
