Hi Folks, i setup my domain with custom dns service. I configured my Airport and after restart i see a lot of new Entrys in the Settings Tab. BUT the A-Record for the Domain isn´t up 2 date. Whats wrong? I only want my domain get the IP of my home so i can access some Services at Home! Thanks |

What I am confused about is how dyndns knows which server should be used to copy the address to the domain name? I am wanting to use this to advertise my public webserver, but it is not staying up to date, even though the address of the host with my router is up to date. I am wondering whether doing a CNAME to that host would work or if its even a valid approach? Please ask your own question, don't post it as an "answer" to somebody else's unrelated question.

Hi, thanks but this isn´t a solution for me. He makes the hole entrys for PTR etc. The only thing missing is updating the A-Record for the domain. I mean its fine that he updates everything to work for wide area bonjour...but the main thing is missing ;-) |
