Currently I have a home media server that I use in a secure live situation to test software and host a few small websites. It also connects my LCDs in the house. I have a full email account and address with GoDaddy. I've recently purchased and updated my domain registrar for another year. I've also purchased an SSL certificate. Both of those purchases were recent from GoDaddy. Personally, I'm a little sick of their service. I've used DYNDNS's free client for some time now and I love the reliability, service, and dedication. I would really like to transfer my domain name and my financial wallet to DynDNS and get as far from GoDaddy as I can, but I honestly do not want to fork out another $100-$500 for a simple transfer only to receive less or similar than what I am getting now. Is there anyway I could get a discount for being a loyal user and make this happen? Here's my current setup: Domain Name by GoDaddy SSL Certificate by GoDaddy Home Media Server and Network Dynamic IP Address I also would like http and https to work. I plan to stick around for a long time and would love to be added to the customer list. Let me know and thanks for a great service! |

Expanding on what jku has said, you'll find the list of domain registration prices here with Custom DNS being a further $30 a year. They have in the past offered discounts if you purchase both together, so it may well be worth checking with DynDNS's sales department. SSL certificates run from about $90/year to $500/year depending on which you select. Note that DynDNS doesn't have a mail server option, though they have SendLabs Fordward for forwarding email to another mailbox you own. If you don't want to do that I'd suggest you look at Google Apps and similar services. |

I recommend emailing sales@dyndns.com for any sales inquiry. Domain registrations are 15.00 a year for .coms, Custom dns for the Domain is 29.95 a year, and ssl's vary depending on the type you need. |
