Custom DNS question

With Custom DNS, Is it possible to direct http://www.mydomainname.com or http://ftp.mydomainname.com etc to my dyndns address (zymme.mine.nu in my case)? Or must I use the ip-address instead of my dyndns?

Yes, you could use a CNAME. However it would be far simpler to create the hostname ftp.example.com (since I suspect you don't own mydomainname.com) and have your update client update that instead of zymme.mine.nu.
