I have never set up a dvr to view remotly. I have done it localy plenty of times. I understand how it works Im just wondering about how to set up DynDNS and where to put it at ? In the Dvr or in the router. I guess if any one could give me a step by step would be great. |

Note that sometimes you can't access the DVR remotely, see this and this question. Even when it does you need sufficient upload bandwidth to stream the media. |
