Instead I get a DynDns search page about this site 0) Windows XP SP3 1) I have removed DynDns Updater 2) I have rebooted my computer 3) I have cleared the cache of my browsers: Firefox, Chrome, IE, Opera, Safari 4) I have performed an: ipconfig /flushdns 5) I have tried disable/enable the router's DynDNS service (no difference) no success !!! the site http://gje.mabulle.com is still blocked. I have no problem with the two others computers in my network (they never had DynDns Updater installed). The server DNS my router uses: 109.0.64.242 and 86.64.233.84 |

thanks, the site http://mabulle.com seems to have problems, somme DNS servers are aware of, some don't known it already. |

It looks like the Useful sites for working out what the problem with a domain is include down for everyone or just me and Central Ops. Not to forget such sites like http://robtex.com/, http://nwtools.com/, http://samspade.org and http://emailstuff.org/dns/.

In your case it doesn't matter what DNS server addresses are configured on the router. You have enabled Internet Guide on your computer with your update client, and because the computer's DNS settings override router settings, you are using the Internet Guide. Here's your solution: http://www.dyndnscommunity.com/questions/73/how-can-i-remove-internet-guide-from-my-computer-closed Beside this, http://gje.mabulle.com is far not blocked, but a DNS lookup returns NXDOMAIN, i.e. this site does not exist (any longer). The Internet Guide redirects you to a search page instead. |
