General DNS & Domains Dyn Email Update Clients Dyn Developer

Hello,

I was wondering what are some of the ways to report Possibly Malicious and/or False Positive (Incorrectly Blocked) URLs (Websites)/Spam/Phishing/Etc.?

Any E-mail Addresses (Such As US-Cert & APWG), Web Submission Forums (Such As Symantec/Norton DNS), Forum Categories/Message Boards (Such As OpenDNS), Way To Report URLs From The Software Client, Website (Such As PhishTank), From The Block Page (Such As ClearCloud DNS), Etc.?

So far all I have found was a Web Submission Forum & E-mail for Barracuda Networks (and I did not even find that on the DynDNS Website, I had to do a Google Search for it after I noticed that Barracuda Networks powers the DynDNS Internet Guide):

http://www.barracudacentral.org/report#website-category

http://www.barracudacentral.org/lookups#domain-category

http://www.barracudanetworks.com/ns/support/submit.php

spam@barracuda.com

If not, I think it would be a good idea to provide various ways for the Community to report Possibly Malicious and/or False Positive URLs to DynDNS to help improve its Malware Blocking Capability. :)

Thank you, -John Jr :)

As DynDNS's Internet Guide service is powered by Barracuda, that is the correct way of reporting changes desired to the service.

Edit
I agree with you, it should. The more people that independently say that to DynDNS the more likely they are to listen ;)

This is a fairly new forum and there are a few things to be sorted out (the emails is one that they already know about).

I think this forum is ideal for questions that have a single answer - which is what it's designed for. It isn't so good for lots of back and forwards communications since voting resets the order of posts. Both have their advantages and disadvantages and DynDNS have both available to people.

Edit The old forum is here, just be aware that it tends to be less frequented by experienced users so you may get a much slower response there.

If this is about the categories used by the Internet Guide, then this is the correct URL to report additons or issues with "Web site Category Submission":
http://www.barracudacentral.org/report#website-category

If you want to check the categorization of a domain, then use this:
http://www.barracudacentral.org/lookups#domain-category

Thank you. :)

I think that URL and/or Form and/or E-mail Address should be listed on several places on the DynDNS Website & Forum, Software Client, Block Page, Etc. so more people can know about it and be able to report things to better improve DynDNS. ;)

They should be easily found and available so more people in the Community can start participating and help improve DynDNS. :)

I am glad that someone else agrees, thank you Cry Havok. :)

Now we just need more people to join us. :D

I will try to see if I can find a way to e-mail an/or send this suggestion to DynDNS in another form as well; if I find a URL for that, I will post it here for others can contact DynDNS as well. :)
