Hi - I have been an EveryDNS user since before DynDNS. They offered me, for free, secondary dns service. I estimate the value of this service at around $1/year. So free or donation-funded is a reasonable compromise. EveryDNS did a good job of providing this service without any hassle, technical defect, advertising cruft, or anything else negative. It was an entirely positive experience. Why did you kill EveryDNS? $40/year for secondary DNS is outrageous. I'd have to be daft to pay that. Are you for real? Such an assertive squandering of goodwill is certain death to a web company. Do you not realize that your competitors are only a click away? Extraordinarily dissatisfied with DynDNS,
