I know this is a duplicate question. It seems lots of people have had similar problems. I signed up for an account and never received the confirmation email. Then I tried the password reset and never got that email. I tried the password reset several times during the last 14 hours and it always says, "Instructions to reset your password have been emailed to the address on file for "" less than 15 minutes ago. We do not permit lost password requests more often." There is definitely a bug. Because they did not email me less than 15 minutes ago. It has been several hours since I last submitted the password reset form. I am 100% positive that I entered the correct email during sign up because I entered my email address in the password reset form, and it correctly found my user name. Further, I copied/pasted the exact email address that I entered in the password reset form and sent a test email message using a different email account. This email account has no auto-deletion of spam, and I have checked all spam filters. The email was either not sent, or not properly sent. My guess is that DynDNS's email queue is broken and messages are not being sent. When I try resetting the password again, it looks at the queue and sees an unsent password reset email, it assumes it was requested less than 15 minutes ago, hence the bug mentioned earlier. I know nobody on this forum can reset my password, but I am posting here because there is no way to report this bug directly to DynDNS. |

I'm getting exactly the same error as dontshow and haven't received the mail in the spam folder. |

I am having the same problems. This is to a gmail account. I see a similar post here: And so far those that have replied have all said that they found the email in their GMail spam folder.

I've just tested it and the email arrives in my inbox within seconds.

Yes, I finally found my spam folder in Gmail. I looked around for it and couldn't find it at first. I'd been using Gmail for a while and never saw one and assumed I didn't have one. For those who have gmail, try looking at the bottome of your email folders. You might see a little drop-down that says "2 more" or some number other than 2. It should be there.

Same here. I've been trying to reset my lost password to a http://gmail.com account and I CANNOT! Strange - I've just done exactly that and it worked within seconds. Did you check your spam folder?
