Ok this has happened before but usually fixes itself in 10 mins now 12 hours later still not working if I use the ip address everything works fine if I use the webname its unable to connect I am thinking the problem has to be with DynDNS as nothing has change on the server in 2 weeks or something on the internet is blocking it. Any ideas would be appreciated. P.S. I am using a linksys WRT610N with Dyndns and it says DDNS is updated successfully,Operation complete so theres no problems there either. |

Have you checked with The cause could be any one of a number of things, but because you've not provided your hostname or WAN IP nobody else can do any checking for you. nslookup resolved to opendns the web name is http://www.dlanson.com and the wan ip is 68.69.220.243

Ok just discovered that http://dlanson.com works http://www.dlanson.com doesn't work which is what I have always been using not sure why one works and the other doesn't

With the www doesnt work without the www it works

Which I have told my service provider there is a problem but they dont see it that way. Even the college I work at some of there sites can't connect and it keeps comimg back as a dns servere issue.
