I have set up my minecraft server for the subdomain name to be my ip and it works fine the first time i use it, whenever i stop and restart my server it says that it cant connect to the port. The port is open and fine cause when i divert back to just regular ip conection it all works fine. This happens with both "no-ip' and "DynDNS" i dont know why its doing it, my internal ip is set to static and port 25565 is functional and open and forwarding. Hamachi may also seem to be a factor too, cause whenever i make my ip static my inetrnet plays up and i have to disbale hamachi to allow myself to do anything with the inetrnet etc. Have any suggestions? |

What are you using to update the hostname? If it is running on the same device as you're running the Hamachi client on then that will be causing your problem (since the Hamachi link becomes the default gateway). You'll need to do one of:
For dyndns im using the Updater client that you can get, and when i do use it i disable hamachi, since it seems to screw up my internet when i have it on whilst static ip in in effect.
