Possible Duplicate:
Is there Dynamic DNS for my own domain name?

Hi, I have a domain name linking to my IP and I want to update it automatically. When trying this, it is said on DYNDNS that I must create a host, which I did. the problem is that it seems that I can only update the IP on the host (example.dyndns.org) but not on my real domain. can anyone please help with this? Thanx

1 Answer:

If you want to do that you'll need to move your DNS hosting to Custom DNS. With the free Dynamic DNS service you can only use a free hostname. To use your own domain you have to register one and then use Custom DNS.
