I'm trying to use DynDNS to host a webserver using WampServer. So far I'm pretty sure I've got everything set up correctly; I've followed all the tutorials, forwarded the right ports, I've configured my router to use the Dynamic DNS and have the update client running and working. I can access my server fine locally using http://localhost, but whenever someone tried to access the server externally, either using the IP or my dyndns hostname, they get directed to my routers setup page. Is there somewhere I might have gone wrong in setting up to cause this? |

You need to set your port forwarding to your server machine. Otherwise everything goes to the router. e.g. forward port 80 to your http server. |

As covered here you either need to change your router's administration port, or forward a different port. |

"I've configured my router to use the Dynamic DNS and have the update client running and working." Hoping that this doesn't mean you're running two updaters, the one on the router and a software client? You must run only one at any time against a hostname, else your hostname will be blocked due to abusive updates, rather sooner than later. |
