General DNS & Domains Dyn Email Update Clients Dyn Developer

I have an account with dyndns all set up and know it works. I am now trying to use ddns in the firmware of a camera to update http://dyndns.org with the current ip address. I am not sure what goes where...

This is a screen shot and it may be obvious to someone what is wrong. The dyndns name and pass is correct for sure. It's the DDNS Host and couple of other fields that are not correct.

Can someone take a look??

Screen shot is here

1 Answer:

Hello theMezz,

If the username and password are correct then the following is all that is necessary.

DDNS Host = the hostname you chose when you set up yuor account, e.g. http://example.dyndns.org.

DDNS or Proxy server = blank

DDNS or Proxy port = blank

If you have further issues please reference this excellent Guide; post back and edit your question with any additional issues. Do not forget to include the requested information at the bottom of the guide.

regards...
