So. I own a minecraft server (216.230.229.16:8949), and ive tried to use this service as well as no-ip (free versions, before i bought real thing) and neither of them seemed to work. DYNDNS says that the ip is invalid when i type it in (im guessing bc of the port) and i dont know what to do. I wasnt people to be able to type in say, http://pvp.crafttribes.net or something rather than 216.230.229.16:8949. any help? |

If you use the default MineCraft port then just the hostname should be enough. The error message is, as you guessed, because DNS hostnames can only have IP addresses, not ports. |
