General DNS & Domains Dyn Email Update Clients Dyn Developer

Since 2009 i allways used .ath.cx domains, today i wanted to get another host on my VIP Account, but http://ath.cx is not available any longer. i visited https://www.dyndns.com/services/dns/dyndns/premium.html, and there also is no http://ath.cx

so i would like to know what happend with it?

The .cx registry had contacted us and asked us not to offer it anymore. Users who currently have a http://ath.cx domain will continue to be able to use theirs, however, at this time we will not be allowing the creation of new domains using it.

I went to create a new host, and saw that http://ath.cx was no longer available! :)

I've been using http://ath.cx for my primary host for a couple of years now. I guess as long as I keep my auto renew Pro account, I'll never lose my host.ath.cx domain?

Oops, yes, you're right. It is no longer available. As this is a user to user forum, you had to contact DynDNS support directly to find out why.

Maybe a chance to register this zone for yourself soon? ;-)

Yes where is http://ath.cx gone!! All the other domain names you have a choice of are cheesy and too long!

Can you at least register another short dns name if it is gone for some reason!
