I have 2 broadband connections each with a network router. I have a standalone DVR on one, and a PC based DVR plus 4 IP cameras on the other. It all works fine, but I would like to access either system from either broadband connection. I can do this internally by using one router to do both networks addressing but it does not work externally. If I setup a PC to bridge the networks would this work externally? Any suggestions would be welcome.

You would be best off purchasing a dual-WAN or multi-WAN router, ideally one with a functional update client built in. You could do it by using a router to connect both existing router's LAN connections:

 WAN1 ---- Router1 ---
                     |-- PC -- LAN
 WAN2 ---- Router2 ---

You would just need to ensure that each camera used a unique port - the same on both WAN links.
