Originator hasn't returned to the thread in a month. Closing this thread to stop the forum bot from bumping it pointlessly.

Without more information we can't really help you.

Are you using the Dynamic DNS service to host a web site? If so where are you performing updates from?

First thing is to check that you have configured a short TTL for your hostname, e.g. 60 seconds instead of 4 hours. Second thing is to flush your local resolver cache if you can't resolve your hostname to the correct IP address:
Windows: ipconfig /flushdns
Mac Tiger: lookupd -flushcache
Mac Leopard: dscacheutil -flushcache

Further, as you seem to be provided with totally different IP addresses, do you have two ISP's with two different internet connections (dual WAN)? Maybe randomly load-balancing?

Cry Havok may be right that your router doesn't update timely enough. Are there any log entries in the router regarding successful or failed DDNS updates, and when these happened? Also, in case you have Dynamic DNS Pro or Custom DNS, you should check your update logs at DynDNS to see if the updates were performed belated.

It sounds like it may be a problem with the router not performing the update fast enough. Have you tried using a software client instead?
