Hello,

I have seen similar questions regarding similar situations but since I have not been able to find the answer that has been able to help me, I will ask again.

I had DDNS working on my Belkin F5D7234-4 v5 for about 6 months and then ended up moving to a new place so I picked up my equipment and moved across the city to the new place. There were no changes in equipment configuration or hardware and I kept the same ISP but in my new place the DDNS status is showing as disabled and I am unable to get it working again. The only thing that changed was the public IP.

Could someone please provide me with some troubleshooting steps or other thoughts that might help get this resolved. I am at a loss and all help would be much appreciated.

Thanks and Regards,

Darian

If you can provide a link to the PDF of the manual we may be able to help you.

Does your account still exist - can you still log in and view it in the http://DynDNS.com site?

You may have to try resetting your router to factory defaults, or contact Belkin for support, since I don't see anything obvious to try.

Yes my account exists and yes I can log on to http://DynDNS.com. Thanks for the time and consideration. I think you may be correct though where it might be a hardware issue in the router itself. I have reset it to factory defaults several times and it will show registered for a few minutes then crap out on me again. I will contact Belkin to troubleshoot further.

Cheers,

D

Please do not ask a question as response to someone else's question, but open your own. Or even better, ask in a Belkin router support forum, as this is not really a DynDNS problem, but a router problem.
