You had to register the domain name here or elsewhere, and you had to get a DNS hosting service like DynDNS Standard DNS. If you register the domain elsewhere, you have to "delegate" it to DynDNS for DNS hosting. As you mention the DynDNS Update Client, yes, you can use this (or another) to keep your domain's DNS entries updated with your dynamic IP address information. |
