Which one should I use?

It shouldn't matter - they're all the same underneath.

• Custom is for use with the Standard DNS service
• Free is for the Dynamic DNS service

However, both use exactly the same method of updating.

but still its not working...i have the free internet service packge that i use to filter the web. I set the DNS 216.146.35.35 and 216.146.36.36 in the DDNS settings i set the dyndns hostname as follows: "myname.dyndns.org(free)" username: myname password: my_password

but still when i access a website i filtered as "ALWAYS BLOCK" it it still accessible....

Ah, you forgot to mention the rest of your problem. It is always helpful to tell us all of your problem, rather than one small part of it.

Does your desktop use the Internet Guide DNS servers? Is your hostname correctly updated with your current WAN IP address? Have you read the instructions?

1. Are you using the Internet Guide at all? http://setup.dynguide.com/
2. If yes, is your hostname updated with the right IP address?
3. If yes, did you flush both, your local resolver cache and your browser cache?
   (You must do this after each settings change of Internet Guide.)
