General DNS & Domains Dyn Email Update Clients Dyn Developer

I was able to use my remote access to my dvr until a recent power outage. I can still get into the dvr from within my network but not from the net. When I use the open port utility I see that port 9000 is refused. Any ideas?

At a guess, you aren't running a working update client. If your update client is working please work through this sticky and should you need further help please edit your question to include all the information requested at the end of that guide.

I am using dyndns updater. I read through the sticky and then went back to my router (dlink 655) for some reason my port 9000 got unforewarded (I haven't been in my router in months). I re forewarded it and it worked perfectly. Thanks for the response it got me thinking in the right direction.
