I was using a free DynDns account to point a domain name to my router that uses port-forwarding to my web server - all worked OK apart from the fact that the router only works off a dynamic IP address. So, I decide to purchase another domain name (dgc.me), delegate this to the paid DynDns zone service and utilise the Dynamic DNS Update tool within my router to automatically update DynDNS with the correct IP address. Everything indicates that all these services are working perfectly OK but I cannot connect to my website. Any ideas? Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to do any external tests at the moment as I am at home. |
