There is an IUnsecuredApartment call being made by the DynUpSvc and I am wondering if it is ok to kill the unsecapp process after it is called. I'm assuming unsecapp is required by WMI to complete the startup of DynUpSvc but once completed is there any reason to keep it around ? When I kill the unsecapp process and then get into the Dyn configurator there are no errors generated. This is for a WXPSP3 box. ref: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa391415%28v=vs.85%29.aspx ..BZ. |

You'd have to ask DynDNS directly, if you have any paid services - this is primarily a user to user forum. |

Never mind I'll debug it myself. An interesting assumption that no other user would be able to answer. "no other user would be able to answer." Because the "once completed is there any reason to keep it around?" question is only to be answered by Microsoft engineering. Only they can know if the caller can/should terminate it.
