General DNS & Domains Dyn Email Update Clients Dyn Developer

I have a web server security camera attached to a Netgear N900 router, port forwarding is setup and I can make a local as well as an internet connection to the camera's private IP address thru the public IP address of the router. I have setup DNS service and can ping the router public IP via the internet by using both DNS and router IP address. The issue I'm having is that I can not access the camera port address, Dyn DNS Pro has no place to list a port address ( 8081 ) to the camera. What have I over looked ?

The reason is that your hostname can only resolve to an IP address, not an IP and port. The answer is to specify the port when you connect (eg http://yourhost.example.org:8081/) or configure a WebHop to redirect you from http://yourhost.example.org/ to http://yourREALhost.example.org:8081/.
