hi cry havok, i am new to this dyndns, i don't even know how to pm you, but i have been reading the posts and felt that you are an expert on this issues can you email advice me on issues on remote access for cctv, its really urgent and i had been rip off by the person who sold me. Pls pardon my ignorance. my email is civic9353@yahoo.com.sg i do not know if this is the right place to ask for advice on cctv. i bought this set of cctv over from a previous owner of this shop. he help me set it up and it work fine at first. but after a while i can still local access it but i cant remote access it. i am not very good with all these IT stuffs. i know that he host the ddns at dyndns. when i cant access i tried to get his help but were ignored. just sms told me to refresh the ip address at the dyndns website or restart the whole cctv system(turn off and on power switch). which both i tried and cant get it to work remotely. can any one with this expertise give me some advice? many million thanks |

Start with the easy to find sticky post. If you then need further help edit your question to include all the information at the end of the guide.
As I've already said, if you need further help please edit your question to include all the information at the end of that guide. hi Cry Havok, i had tried everything in the sticky post. the funny thing is i was able to locally view my cctv but once i trieed remote i totally cant access, not even to the page to enter my credentials. i updated my ip address on the dyndns website under my host, i check my router settings which shows my dyndns acc and succeeded connection, but still cant be remte accessly, able to advice me via email or any instant messenger?
