Hi, i have been trying to port forward to access my IP camera but when checking my IP, some tools give me a different IP address from what is shown in my router's WAN properties and when i try to check for whether the port is open, it always fail. Can someone advice me as i need to setup the camera asap. Thanks! |

You'll want to work through this guide, and if you still have problems, provide all the information listed at the end of the guide. With the information already provided, we can only guess. E.g. it might be that your ISP provides you with a private RFC-1918 IP address only, or that your internet connection is being proxied. In these cases you can't reach your network from outside. |
