General DNS & Domains Dyn Email Update Clients Dyn Developer

Hi!

My server can only send mails via SMTP port 25. My provider only accepts SMTPS (SMTP-AUTH) port 587. What service DYNDNS use?

Thanks

You don't need an online service as offered by Dyn, but a local program performing port/protocol translation, a kind of internal SMTP relay. DeleGate may be able to do what you're looking for. Or simply change the sendmail program of that server.

Edit:

Unfortunately, I can not apply any of the two proposals. This is not a PC but a monitoring device with an integrated server.

Then you may be pretty out of luck with the Dyn e-mail services, as they do not seem to support SMPTS over port 587. Whatever, you may want to contact pre-sales to see what they can do for you.
