General DNS & Domains Dyn Email Update Clients Dyn Developer

I just got an mail to renew my email account.

First, I hate that the website domain has changed - I'm not sure I'm talking to the same company anymore.

Second, I hate that I need to allow "google.com" - and then "googleapis.com" - in addition to "dyndnscommunity.com" if I want to post a question here.

More importantly, I go to renew my mail account, click on "Dyn Standard SMTP (?) 1 today - 150 relays / day" / View.. click on Renew link on the next page, get "You have no services expiring soon. View all services." - ok, click on View All Services; then I get:

Service Expiration Price
Dyn Standard SMTP March 22, 2012 $39.90/2 years

As far as I can remember, I always used to pay one year in advance, and I do NOT want to be bound for two years in advance.

So my question is: is it possible still to somehow pay for only one year in advance?

Thanks in advance for any answers.

1 Answer:

You may want to ask DynDNS staff - see the contact link at the bottom - since this is primarily a user to user forum.
