Hello, I am trying to setup multiple host accounts to allow customers to use a DynDNS to login to their VPN router I installed for them. I had created one account advancedelectric as a free account, now I have my desktop updating the account with my IP address using the updater. I installed a Dlink DIR330 VPN router on a customer's site and I created a host name for them on my account. I would like to have them have a different login for their DNS, also when my DNS updater updates the IP address it updates both theirs and mine. I since have updated to a Pro account expecting this to allow me to control multiple hosts with individual logins and respective IP updates. |

You can create multiple hostnames in a single account and then configure each location to only update a single hostname. However, until you are on the Dynect DNS platform (such as with Managed DNS Lite) you only have a single username and password to use for the updates. |
This is correct for DynDNS Pro. And it's not about 'accessing', but about 'authenticating'.
While just entering/referencing the one hostname in question at this particular site and in this particular update client. |

OK, if I do stay with the Pro account, (I checked the Lite and for my needs right now it's a little more than I can spend) all hosts will use the same account name and password to access the DynDNS site. How do I configure each to only update the single hostname. Thanks, Frank |
