Are you sure it's the DVR you're seeing a login prompt for and not the router? If you can edit your question to include your hostname we can easily tell what it is providing the login prompt. In general this sticky covers all the key points of remote access. |

Dear Ibraba, This is a known issue, if you are trying to access it from Mozilla firefox web browser or any other webbrowser, except IE. In Firefox web browser you need to add an Addon as mentinoned in the weblink"http://ieview.roub.net/" However, I suggest you to check it with netdvr application. You can download it from 'http://www.4shared.com/file/p8JaV9cr/netdvr_client_21129.html" NetDVR application is cool to access your remote DVR Cams. check and let me know if you still face issue in resolving this... best regards, Mirza Mujeeb Baig. |

Dear Ibraba, Can you please provide me your DVR make and model. when you can able to see the login page from internet, however, you are unable to login. then you have to make sure that you should port forward the server port of DVR. If you can let me know the make and model of the DVR I can let you know the furhter more steps to configure on your Router. Best Regards, Mirza Mujeeb Baig. GVT India. |

Yes, indeed it's the login page of the dvr and not the router But I've finally used a hostname from a DLinkddns account of a friend of mine and it works I had 3 dvrs to connect; but we've discovered the local network was not stable Finally, I've connected one dvr.Later we'll apply for a second internet line for cameras Thank you for your answer If you have some advices for the related question; it would be greatly appreciated Best regards What "related question"? Don't forget to read and work through that sticky since it tells you what we need to know, along with details of the actual problem.
