Hi, I'm trying to delegate a french domain registered with http://europeregistry.com but their official tool (http://www.afnic.fr/fr/produits-et-services/services/zonecheck/formulaire-complet/) rejects the request with the error:
The domain I'm trying to delegate is http://sabiasque.fr . The command "dig http://sabiasque.fr @ns1.mydyndns.org soa +norecurse" repports no errors but http://ns1.mydyndns.org isn't accepting connections on port tcp 53. Is it mandatory or is there a problem with http://ns1.mydyndns.org? Thank you |

Dyn's servers are responding correctly - I've just tested them with a domain registered there. Have you purchased Standard DNS for
If the problem only relates to TCP, and only on that server, then yes. I do also see the same as you're describing, though only on IPv4 - it works fine on IPv6. |

Hi, I have exactly your same problem. Did DynDns solve that for you in the end? |

Hi Cry, I can't connect to http://ns1.mydyndns.org on port tcp port 53 either from my laptop in Portugal or my server in france:
and apparently the connection is also timing out from france and AFNIC considers it a fatal error. I have purchased Standard DNS for http://sabiasque.fr and it is correctly configured:
But it I force the command to use TCP and IPV4 I'll get a timeout:
I can connect with telnet to all other DynDNS servers (ns2.mydyndns.org, http://ns3.mydyndns.org, http://ns4.mydyndns.org and http://ns5.mydyndns.org) on TCP port 53 but not to http://ns1.mydyndns.org... Should I open a ticket on Dyn? |
