I have a bunch of DX-230 4G wireless modems. I want to put one in each of our hurricane shelters so I can add a couple of smart devices to monitor the fuel levels, the generator itself, the cistern level, control the A/C etc. All easy with different ports. I want to do it in about 20 shelters. Do I need one account? 20 accounts? and If I need one (which I hope for the project to go ahead) Which account do I need. There will be very little traffic on any of these. /Lee |

You could do it with one account and a single Dynamic DNS Pro package. You will need to run an update client at each location, and ensure that your 4G provider provides you with an Internet routable IP, not an RFC 1918 one. If your ISP provides you with RFC 1918 IP addresses then you cannot remotely connect to your devices. |
