Dyndns client is working fine to push out the address of my BT hub and I can connect when off site to see cctv. However when the PC that runs the client is used to make a VPN connection to another site the address is changed and of course offsite access to the cctv fails. Presumably I could set up a static route(s) to over come this but would appreciate some guidance on how to do this and what addresses to use. I found a similar thread in the forum pointing to a link about how to do this but the link appears to be broken. |

The simple option is to not use a software client, but a hardware one (your router or CCTV device may have one built in that works). If you want to stay with a software client then you need to ensure you configure your (unspecified) operating system with a static route to all the IP addresses that Note that some VPN clients will not allow you to over-ride their routes. |
