hi, I'm new to dyndns, but I have tried to set up things right. when I run the dd client, I get an error message telling me the host list is empty. I think this can have something to do with the setup I have made on dyndns, but there are severale places something can be wrong, but I need a direction to search. please, anyone..? DagR |

It sounds like you haven't correctly configured ddclient. You may want to read Dyn's example, which includes a link to a tool that will build a configuration file for you. |

Thanx. Your answer helped me further on the road:)The function on the dyndns website made a text document which I could paste into the setup file. Now it's working. DagR |
