To setup adsense on my domain Google says to enter Host Name '@' and enter Address 216.239.32.21. DynDNS rejects the @ symbol as an invalid host name. Am I supposed to add it another way? I'm using the custom control panel.

1 Answer:

Can you please provide a link to Google's instructions. @ is shorthand for the name of the domain, which would mean that for example.com anybody visiting http://example.com/ would be directed to 216.239.32.21. You probably don't really want that ;)

Right, reading that it as I expected - instead of entering '@' just leave the hostname box empty. See the instructions for EveryDNS on that page for an example.
