Hello. I own a D-Link DIR-655 and have set up the DDNS service with a free account on http://dlinkddns.com. I've entered everything correctly and it says 'Connected' in the status portion of the routers page, but when I log in to check the IP address that the domain name is being directed to and it is continuously defaulting to 255.255.255.255. I manually update it on the site and after the allotted update time I set for my router, the address is reset back to 255.255.255.255. Any ideas on what is causing this? |

That model has known broken firmware, what firmware version are you using? It may be that you need to replace it with one that works, or use a software client on a computer that is always running. |
