when I type in my host name http://xxxxxxxxx.dyndns.org into my dvr setup page it won't allow me to keep typing after 30 characters. Do I need to make a shorter host name? Can I type it in without http:// in front? |

Hello heyboo, That is a function of your DVR, and not within the control of Dyn. It will depend upon your DVR. A link to your DVR's manual may give us the answer. You may wish to inquire in a user forum for your DVR, if one exists, as they would have better chance of knowing. Or experiment with various name lengths to see what works. regards... |
