General DNS & Domains Dyn Email Update Clients Dyn Developer

Hi...New to 'Dyn standard DNS", though I have been using DynDNS Pro from 2 years. The limitation of DynDNS pro - 30 hosts , promted me to purchase Dyn Standard DNS. I saw on their Ad mentioned as 75 hosts limit. I purchased Dyn std DNS and having tough time configuring hosts, I really dont need a Domain name...I just need host names so that I can configure VPN on public network with public IPs where DDNs give me a hostname to IP resilution. Please help if any of you here aware of this settings in Dyn std DNS.

With thanks and best regards... User@PG

1 Answer:

You can just add further Pro packages, for a further 30 hostnames at a time, if that is all you need. Should you decide that it was a mistake then see Dyn's refund policy.

Otherwise, Standard DNS works in exactly the same way for what you're talking about. You create a hostname (in the domain) and configure an update client to update it.
