*DynDNS Hostname Expiration Warning Dear Dyn Customer: Your Dyn account 'wsh2', has DynDNS free hostname(s) that are due to expire in 5 days. Note that DynDNS free hostnames are deleted after 30 days of inactivity. You can prevent your hostname(s) from expiring here:*
When I click on the link provided above it takes me to the dyn home page.. and NOT to the re-activation screen like the link has always done in the past. The home page has no instructions on how to keep my hostname from expiring. Help! Thanks bunches and bunches in advance. Respectfully, Bill. |

Can you forward the original email that you received with this link in it? Mike Community Manager, Dyn. |
|
You should be able to log in to your account and renew it that way. |
Logging in should have helped. It doesn't matter if the link works or not. It may be anyway only to identify if you reacted on that e-mail or not. As any website hoster, also Dyn collect stats about usage and such. |

I was not able to renew my free dns and now I cannot find the "mine.nu" as an option under the free hosts. What should I do to get my name back? I have had this name for several years about. First, do not answer someone elses question with your question. Start your own question. Second, that hostname domain is no longer available to free accounts. To have a chance a getting that hostname again you will need to sign up for DynDNS Pro.
