Hey there! I got a hostname several years ago (".ath.cx" which was free once, now it's apparently a paid one). My IP changes not very often, so I got a mail in which I was warned that my hostnames are due to expire in 5 days. And I should click a link to prevent deletion. I clicked that link and they said that everything is OK. But now I can't reach my router with that hostname anymore. If I click the link again it says
Where can I get this password reset to get my hostname back? |

Hello EagleRulz, Here is the link for password recovery form. Here for Recovering Free Accounts Please see this answer about account update requirements. Also dns TRAFFIC does not qualify to keep you account open. Only manual logins or update client accesses qualify to keep your free account open. I fear that if you have lost your ".ath.cx" you will not be able to get it back, as they are no longer available through Dyn. Hope this helps regards… |

Thank you for your answer. I haven't lost my account (or forgot the password). Just wanted to update the hostname (like i did it the last few years). Really sad that that domain isn't available anymore. Would really suck if it's lost .. And the only thing you can get here are stupid ".dyndns[...]" names.. Do you know a good Dyndns service? "Do you know a good Dyndns service?" I believe that Dyn is the best. But feel free to look for another.
