If you do not have a domain name of your own, and do not want to purchase one, then you have signed up for the incorrect service. If this is the case, then you need to signup for at least DynDNS Pro. You can contact billing to see if they can cancel your Dyn Standard service and apply it to a DynDNS Pro service. Or you can apply for a refund on the Dyn Standard service and then purchase the DynDNS Pro service. Either way see the refund policy. If you want to use your own domain name, and create hostnames which are sub domains of that domain name; then you will need to purchase a domain name and use the Dyn Standard account to create subdomains like this; http://sub1.example.com, http://sub2.example.com, etc. Hope this helps. regards… |
