General DNS & Domains Dyn Email Update Clients Dyn Developer

I have two hosts set up for two computers, one at home and one at my office. One host was for my home computer and cameras and one host was for my office computer and cameras. There is a camera server software on each computer with respective client software. My home computer is updating both the home server ip address and the remote software for the office computer with the same ip address for the home even though I have given them different addresses. Do I need to open two different accounts to make it work right?

I have the same set up. What you are telling me that I must put a computer on the other location, because the updater will only update the ip address it is physically at. Am I getting this right? Every time my office camera quits, I have to physically check for a new IP address? No way to work this out remotely? Like a table of old IP addresses that have been updated in the last week? 1 Answer:

No, you just need to ensure that you configure the client at home to only update the one hostname. How you do that depends on the client - if you provide details then we'll be able to help you further.
