Does using dyndns conflict with using a service like OpenDNS, which I'm using. |

The DynDNS service of pointing a hostname to your IP address? No, that would have nothing to do with OpenDNS and there is no conflict. Those are two completely different services. One is pointing a hostname to an IP address (DynDNS), the other is a Recursive DNS service that is used every time your computer looks up a domain name (OpenDNS). We do offer a service called DynDNS Internet Guide that is a direct competitor to OpenDNS. The nice thing about Internet Guide is it takes advantage of your DynDNS hostname for updates and defense plans. Also, you can use the same DynDNS Updater for both services. |
