Hi i really hope somebody can help me here, i have read loads of threads now but it wont work :( i have a 4ch jupiter v3 dvr which i brought of cctv direct, and i am trying to remotely view my cameras on my iphone. so far i have found my wan ip created a static private ip for my dvr wich i can log into and see cameras using my lan created a port map on my apple airport router to port 80 and my dvrs ip when i use the iphone app eagles-eye and put my wan ip in it doesnt load up i can connect using the wan ip on my lan, so i know the port forward works..... any ideas people? much appreciated |

Can you edit your question and break that multi-line sentence that's the third paragraph into some sentences please - it's very hard to read. I'd also suggest you read this guide as testing from your LAN proves nothing useful. I'd guess that your ISP may block port 80. So, work through that guide - you can't test with your WAN IP or hostname from within the LAN. You must test from another Internet connection. That it works from there proves nothing. If, working through, you run into problems not covered in the guide, update your question with the step you've reached and the exact error. It will help if you provide your DynDNS hostname. http://gasmanphil.homeip.net is the host name and i made the ip my external ip. I guess i will have to try a different port.

Comment notification is unreliable, hence why nobody has replied since you added your comment The open port tool shows port 80 as refusing connections, suggesting either you have a firewall problem or that your ISP is port blocking. |
