Hi i managed to get into my dvr from my mobile by going to my ip address and then :8000 port afterwards. I am now trying to get dyn dns to work my host name is http://gasmanphil.homeip.net, when i go to that address it doesn't load anything. My hostname is my public ip and i have port mapped to the dvr and port 8000 as otherwise i would not of been able to get in from my mobile. Thanks |

Well, your hostname simply maps to an IP address, so if you have to specify a port with the IP then you'll have to specify it with the hostname. If you don't want to do that then look at WebHop. Don't forget that with this forum you're expected to tick the answer that helped you - that's how it works and how people know what to try when they encounter the same problem. |

Cry Havok is correct. Try adding the :8000 to the end of the address. http://gasmanphil.homeip.net:8000 from your mobile phone. |
